Summer Reading
Friday, June 10, 2011 at 03:40PM I think that I will do some re-reading this summer. I saw the new film version of Jane Eyre, so that is on top of the list. Also, Martha said she was re-reading Pride and Prejudice, so, then so will I. I also saw a copy of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, which I used to read annually, but haven't since Grandpa died, and certainly have avoided since Daddy died. But Chet bats lefty, so, I put it on my shelf. Also, I think I'll re-visit (isn't it the same thing, really), the Five Women complilation of some of Robert Musils short work, and I'll probably not be able to resist some YA...I was actually thinking of Harry, just to take a break from the usual Tamora series, although maybe a close reading of Melina Marchetta's early stuff and some Kristin Cashore. And Sonya Sones, but that is about an hour.
And there's plenty of new stuff to read, too. Everything But the Squeal, On Rue Tatin, and some new stuff that I don't remember.
